Searching on Internet soups bars in Paris, I found this soups and quenelles bars. Quenelles are a french speciality made with semolina, butter, eggs. Because I like quenelles but I never succeed to make the good sauce. So I wanted to try. It may make smile when I say: “I will have dinner in a soup and quenelles bar” because quenelle is very simple dish. But it was delicious and it gave me some ideas to cook nice starters and dishes with it.

We arrived at 7.30pm, there was nobody! In my opinion, is what I like because we can talk quietly. It is also because this is not a restaurant but a little space and maybe with more client at noon.

For starters we choose quenelles tapas (6 pieces) and we mixed the flavours, so we selected the 3 available: gouda cheese, prune and bacon and tomato – mozzarella. When it arrived, it was little slices of grilled quenelles with the accompaniment on top. It was surprising but tasty.
For dish, I chose quenelles with nantua sauce that I never taste, it was just 2 pike quenelles with crayfish and a big quantity of sauce which was lightly spiced. Jess chose a salad with grilled slices of suenelles, tomatoes and parmegianno shaving.

Everything was good and fresh. We loved it and before we finish some people starting to enter in.
Is it a good adress for a good diner not very heavy on stomach. We paid 22€. Tapas costs (6 pieces) 5€ and the dishes 8.50€.
