Located in a side street of the 17th arrondissement, the restaurant “la Table des Olivier” offers a french south cuisine which awakens our papillae.
Before the diner, they proposes "tapenade" (black or greens blended olive to spread) and small crusts. It is so delightful to be in a restaurant which offers something to eat with your drink. It is so rare in Paris !!!!
In the 30€ menu, I loved the eggplant grilled with tomato accompanied with Parmesan. For the dish, I opted for a fried bass fillet with thyme. What a delight!!!! On the contrary, I was not mad on the dessert: kind of peaches in syrup, nothing transcendent.
If you like the french south cuisine or like to discover it, open the door of this nice restaurant, you will be warmly welcome and will have the chance to congratulate the Chef who comes in the dining room to know if everything is ok.
