It is a castle transformed along the centuries… But thanks to revolution and Napoleon, the building is like half it should be!
Amboise is famous because of Leonard de Vinci who lived in the city until his death.
We loved Amboise because of its history, but we really preferred Chenonceau and Chambord.
Opened Every day except January first and December 25.
From 02/01 to 31/01 : 9am to 12h30 & 2pm to 4.45pm
From 01/02 to 28/02 : 9am to 12h30 & 1pm to 5pm
From 01/03 to 31/03 : 9am to 5.30pm
From 01/04 to 30/06 : 9am to 6.00pm
From 01/07 to 31/08 : 9am to 7.00pm
