In the heart of Montmartre, this small restaurant treats you well, the atmosphere is there very convivial and we fell well. We are a bit gripped but it is definitely in the spirit of bistroes montmartrois. The traditional French cuisine is delightful even if acording to me a zest of spices was missing. For my part, I took the vegetarian plate and well-blended cheese.
Do not hesitate to cross the door of this bistro, you will come back from it delighted.

Carolina Point of vew on november 2006 :
Last Thursday night, I went with my 2 girlsfriends, Eve and Jess, at l’Annexe Montmartre. It is a little restaurant that we found by chance when we went to another restaurant that we selected initially. It was a good idea and we were delighted. It is decorated with sober of colours beige and red, and there are 2 waiters who are the owners and they welcome you very well. We can also see the kitchen. (I think that a restaurant who has nothing to hide, can show the kitchen). The menu is displayed on the wall and propose you dishes so attractive.
We chose salmon rolls with feta cheese and mixed herbs, served by two. Delighful.
For my main dish, I chose a duck breast with maple syrup with gratin dauphinois ( sliced potatoes baked with milk and browned on top). The meat was very tender. Even at home I cant have a breast so good. And the maple syrup is very appropriate. My friends chose different dishes, one crispy chicken with a pancake and slices of vegetables and a fish in buttered paper very tasty and boneless, with vegetables, and tagliatelles with olive oil.
For dessert, we shared a chocolate cake with vanilla sauce. Delicious.
We arrived, as usual first, but when we left, the restaurant was full. It’s very pleasant to discover a place where dishes are good and well served and with a sympathic welcome. I only found one bad thing it’s because I dont smoke and the restaurant is just one room and it’s very smockey. And the noise aswell, the atmosphere is very animated, but I doubt it is ideal for a romantic dinner, unless you come early at 7pm.
We will come back, for sure.
