LE DAUVILE
75, avenue des Champs Elysées
75008 PARIS
01.42.25.08.64

Walking on Champs Elysées Avenue, I stopped at the Deauville’s café, attracted by the waiters dressed as a sailor. Unfortunately, the waiter did not see me and I waited more than 10 minutes before deciding to make them sign. Happily, Perrier was accompanied with olives and with potato chips. In brief, it is not an address which I would recommend despite the amazing location.

It does no harm just this once, I venture into the 5th area of our dear Paris and surprise, near the Pantheon, nested on rue des Fossés Saint Jacques, a restaurant à vin makes me of the eye or rather the nose because to savour their wine it is necessary to have a good smell. This pretty restaurant offers you a pared-down card (5/6 entries, dishes, desserts ) accompanied with a so long wine list that we finally opted for advice of the waitress. It was delicious. I ate a mellow of lamb and its polenta in olives and for dessert one pana cotta of coco milk. The staff is very nice. If you go for a walk near the garden of Luxembourg or the Pantheon, do not forget this small restaurant.

Le Grain De Sel
Cuisine du monde
15, rue Sainte-Cécile
75009 Paris
Métro Grands Boulevards (lignes 8 et 9)

This small restaurant is located near the theatres Palace and Folies Bergère. The room has about 20 tables and is decorated with few plants and a big wooden bar.
But the best are the dishes. I took the day menu which was 12.50 € it included the Main : Chicken in Brazilian sauce (made with curry and coconut milk) accompanied with rice, it was delicious !
The dessert : brioche with apples and caramel sauce… I never thought it could be so good !

Au Petit Montparnasse
16, place des Abbesses
75018 Paris

Situated just a step from the exit of the subway station "Abesses". You can take advantage of the terrace brightened up untill 7:00 pm. Furthermore, if you are lucky as me the other evening, you will have, the pleasure to listen to a group of musicians playing at the exit of the subway.

Le SANCERRE
35 rue des Abbesses
75018 PARIS

Small brasserie situated next to the theater Of Abbesses, where they shall reserve for you a warm welcome. This place is ideal for a fast dinner before going to the theater. I chosed a salad "My little Italy" at the price of 11 .5o euro. The salad was rather substantial.

I regrettably had no time to sample a dessert before returning me to the theater. Next time can be!!!

Angelina 1er
226 rue de Rivoli
75001 Paris
Metro : Tuileries (line 1)

Last Sunday I've tried the very famous tea room Angelina for a brunch. This place seems to be quickly not as good as we thought. Hardly of this report the waiter made us some confidences. The Angelina’s breakfast is available till 1h00 pm but it is already noon and we are imposed rationing in small croissants and similar products. They are also very sparing with their plates because there are not enough, but they are expecting the delivery. Trays loads of dishes cross above my head and the waiters push my chair, but again he admits us to miss space and invites us to have a look around the room. I would add that besides the room, our table also was too small for all it contains a full breakfast. Conclusion, only our stomach was delighted with the quality of products. The fresh orange juice taste fruit wall up! Next time, I would allow my self to be tempted by their speciality " Mont Blanc " meringue and hazelnut cream but I’ll take it at the counter of sale to go to enjoy it to the Tuileries Garden.

LE KOKOLION
62, rue d’Orsel
75018 PARIS
TEL : 01 42 58 24 41

Métro : Anvers (ligne 2) et Abesses (ligne 12)

Here is a restaurant where they cook good food. This place is not very big (about 20 seats) but this fact make it friendly. The boss received us with a smile (in spite of our delay) and installed us in the room with the theatre advertisment. The decoration with strong red connotation reminds me the french boudoirs. The menu was 24.90 € (entrance and main dish, or main dish and dessert) it is accessible and the card changes regularly. Plates are generous. I took Gratin of dab and a crumble with walnuts and cinnamon ice. I still remember it.

One advice : reservation needed.

They serve untill 00h30 !!!!

You will find L'Alisier in the street Rodier, a very nice restaurant. Inside it looks zen (cream and black colours) and welcoming. This restaurant is kept by Stephane and Bertrand. This evening, Bertrand was in rooma and Stephane was in kitchen ! Bertrand was charming, recommending us for dishes : Gamgas cooked in Mexicain way, a culinary delight ! and for dessert a waffle with som Chantilly cream (ups my diet !!!!). They serve generously (specially in Chantilly cream) and Bertrand made me laugh a lot. I had a very good time and if you search for a reasonable and convivial restaurant, YOU FOUND IT !
